1.0 out of 5 stars What a disappointment!, April 26, 2017
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
For for the last three years, Pampers baby dry has been my favorite diapers by far. We've gone through some designs changes along the way but nothing HORRIBLE as this new design.
It is absolutely cheapy, scratchy and you can see and feel it as soon as you touch it. I took several pictures to show how different it is from the old design. My toddler was extremely irritable while using this new design and quite often tried to take it off. We got wet pants accidents ( especially on the back) even when the diaper was barely wet.
I took a pic of the new vs old model, side by side and against the light, what you see is less material all the way up on the new design. The back is pretty much just the diaper inner and outer layer, no cushioning at all.
What a disappointment!
I've been pretty happy with Pampers baby dry and my Amazon diapers subscription up to now, but will be cancelling it until I find something else as good as these used to be or Pampers addresses this... Read more

Pampers says:
We appreciate your continued loyalty to Pampers and we're so sorry to hear that you're feeling disappointed. Our new Baby Dry with Extra-Absorb Channels diapers are thinner, but they have more absorbent materials than the previous version of Baby Dry. Sometimes leaks happen because there isn't enough absorbent material for baby’s urine output, which could mean baby is ready for the next size. If your little one is close to the upper end of the weight range for the diaper size you're currently using, you may want to try the next size up as there is more absorbent material in the larger sizes. The new design also uses the same gentle materials as before, so they certainly shouldn't feel different. Please give us a call at (800) 726-7377 so we can help further.

3.0 out of 5 stars Exploding diapers., June 25, 2015

(TOP 500 REVIEWER)
We've been using these exact Pampers for years. They generally do a good job at holding onto the mess, however.... The consistency of the new "improved" pampers is not great. In the past year I've had more exploding diapers than I can count. By exploding I mean my son whispered the word pee and when I went to change him it looked like it snowed in his pants. Yellow snow of coarse, specifically the type your mommy warned you about. It's gross and it gets all over the carpet and he tries to pick it up with his hands and put it in his mouth. God only knows what chemical might be in there other than his bowel movement. I end up having to give him a bath immediately and then I vacuum the carpet for exactly 1 hour or burn the room depending on the severity of the explosion. The good news is that Amazon is awesome and if you complain about your box of diapers they will give you the entire box for free. Let me be clear, I've had exploding diapers because my son peed so much that they... Read more

Pampers says:
Reading your review has left us feeling disappointed by your experiences with our diapers. We wouldn't want you to have diapers exploding and leaving Oregon trails of absorbent beads around your house. We're sorry you've been experiencing this with 5% of your purchases. Pampers aims to bring the best possible diapers to you and your baby. Pampers is constantly working to improve our diapers which has led to the recent changes for Pampers Baby Dry diapers. Pampers has removed some unnecessary pulp and increased the absorbency, so these diapers are drier and less bulky than before. Pampers has also added Extra Absorb Channels to the diapers, which help to lock away wetness more evenly in the core of the diaper. This new design of Baby Dry is more like our premium diapers, Pampers Swaddlers and Pampers Cruisers. We hope that you'll give our new & improved Baby Dry diapers a try and give us a call at (800) 726-7377 if you have any questions!

1.0 out of 5 stars Worm And Knock-off pampers!, October 13, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've been using Pamper baby drys for 4 years now and the pampers I received from Amazon Prime had a WORM in the bag! They are very low quality, they feel and look different. The top of the diaper is shorter then the ones I bought from Walmart. And the girl Monster is yellow instead of orange. The 4 is different. The whole diaper looks like a cheap knock-off. They are very very thin feeling compared to the Walmart ones. I am disgusted.

Pampers says:
This is not the quality you should expect from Pampers, no matter where you purchase them. All of our diapers go through many quality checks to ensure they reach you in the best condition. We'd like to learn more about this so we can help further. When you have a moment, please give us a call at (800) 726-7377. It may also be helpful to know that we've recently improved our Baby Dry diapers. We've removed some unnecessary pulp and increased the absorbency, so these diapers are drier and less bulky than before. We've also added Extra Absorb Channels to the diapers, which help to lock away wetness more evenly in the core of the diaper.
